SATB style
- Conclusive phrases move from I-V-I-V.
- 2nd level Analysis (contextual analysis) There's a T-PD-D-T or I-IV-I-V.
- A cadence is the last two notes of a phrase or piece of music some examples of these are Authentic and Half cadences.
- A half cadence ends with the 5
- The authentic cadence ends with the 5-1.
- When the harmony in the saprano moves from 7-1 or 2-1 it is note as a perfect authentic cadence.
- An Imperfect authentic cadence happens when the notes in the saprono ends on something different or it is weakend example ending on a 4-3.
