Diatonic Modes
- The minor pentatonic scale consist of the 1 3b 4 5 7b
- There are 7 seven modes Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, and Locrian.
- The Dorian mode is just a natural minor with a raised 6th.
- Lydian is just a major scale with a sharp 4
- Mixolydian is just a major scale with a lowered 7.
