Minor Keys and Diatonic Modes
- Parallel keys share the same tonic and parallel key chords share the same pentachords (1,2,4 and 5)
- Relative minors have different tonics and share the same key signature.
- To find the relative minor find the scale degree 6 of the major key and that would be the relative minor.
- To find the major to any minor find the 3rd degree of the scale and that is the relative major.
